OCATI® even went a step further, and through intense research efforts, they have successfully replaced some pesticides (chemically synthesized) with natural biological control techniques.
The Position
For our client OCATI® we are looking for a senior sales professional to further develop & expand the business with major European supermarkets. Therefore, this position requires frequent travel to Europe to visit potential clients and participate in trade shows.

About the Role
OCATI® is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Senior Sales Professional to lead and expand our presence in the European retail market. This role is ideal for a proactive, internationally minded sales expert who understands consumer trends, builds strong client relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced export environment.
You will play a key role in strengthening partnerships with European supermarkets, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering sustainable commercial results while representing the quality and freshness of our tropical fruits and vegetables.
Key Responsibilities
Quantification of target markets, Analyze market and sales data to support strategic decision-making
Identify strategies / Alliances, market opportunities with current and potential clients
Develop, execute commercial strategies & export concepts focused on European supermarket clients
Establish marketing strategies and monitor their execution and measure their impact
Lead and coordinate the team of commercial and marketing interns
Participate in & coordinate all activities related to international trade fairs
Accurate demand forecasting for your territory
Manage and grow key accounts through strong relationship-building and customer orientation
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms aligned with company objectives
Continuously monitor performance, ensuring targets, timelines, and quality standards are met
Coordinate internally to secure the necessary resources to achieve commercial goals
Identify improvement opportunities and anticipate client and market needs
What We’re Looking For
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, commercial roles, or export-related positions
Experience working with international clients (preferably European markets) is a strong advantage
Background in agriculture, fresh produce, food export, or FMCG is a huge plus
European candidates living in Colombia are welcomed to apply (International candidates can apply if they are in the possession of a valid visa and work authorization)

Education
Preferably an education in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Marketing and/or related fields.
Languages
Bilingual in English / Spanish (mandatory)
A third language (e.g., German, French, or Dutch) is highly valued
