Position Summary
The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a key leadership role in supporting the Food & Beverage Manager to deliver exceptional dining experiences that reflect Marriott brand standards.
This position oversees daily operations, coaches and motivates service teams, and ensures consistent quality, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
The Supervisor actively manages labor and operational costs while driving revenue growth through service excellence and continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are an experienced restaurant / F&B supervisor in well known luxury hotel / resort environments.
You bring top level professionalism combined with an inviting & warm personality that matches the Caribbean island vibe.
Excellent Customer Service & Experiences has been your main goal during your hospitality career.
You feel very comfortable in an international gastronomy environment, you are fluent in English and can speak other languages (Dutch & Spanish would be a plus).
You enjoy working with and managing international restaurant crews.

Key Responsibilities
Managing Bar & Lounge Operations
Develop the beverage program to reflect signature cocktail menus that reflect The Pyrmont’s brand identity, local ingredients, and Curaçao’s culture.
Develop seasonal beverage programs reflecting innovative mixology trends.
Oversee the daily operations of bars, lounges, and pool/beach beverage service, ensuring smooth service flows and consistent quality.
Develop and implement SOPs, beverage service standards, and training materials aligned with Autograph Collections expectations.
Ensure consistent recipe execution, portion control, and presentation standards.
Partner with vendors and suppliers to source premium spirits and support beverage innovation.
Monitor cleanliness, bar mise-en-place, equipment functionality, and overall atmosphere.
Monitor adherence to all liquor control policies and responsible service guidelines.
Participate in pre- and post-event briefings to understand and meet group needs.
Control departmental expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted targets.
Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
Oversee inventory levels and ensure alignment with business demands and budget forecasts.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and subordinates through all appropriate channels.
Identify and uphold high standards for product quality, presentation, and overall dining aesthetics.
Work closely with the marketing team for beverage programs.
Leading the Bar & Lounge Team
Recruit, train, supervise, and coach bartenders, bar servers, and barbacks.
Conduct regular training on mixology, liquor control standards, responsible service, and operating procedures.
Foster a supportive, energetic work environment aligned with The Pyrmont’s people brand.
Schedule and manage staffing to meet guest service expectations and operational requirements.
Clearly communicate expectations, event details, and operational priorities to the team.
Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and excellence.
Support the team on the floor during peak service periods, ensuring flawless guest experiences.
Delivering Exceptional Guest Experiences
Consistently provide warm, personalized service aligned with hotel brand standards.
Engage with guests to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction with products and service.
Respond promptly and effectively to guest feedback and service recovery needs.
Empower team members to anticipate and exceed guest expectations.
Reinforce a culture of continuous improvement through regular meetings and feedback sessions.
Review guest satisfaction reports and comment cards with the team to identify areas for growth.

Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in hotel Food & Beverage operations or a related hospitality field, preferably within a resort or all-inclusive environment.
High School diploma or equivalent required; further education in hospitality or business is an advantage.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a restaurant, bar, banquet, or all-inclusive resort setting required.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal; proficiency in Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamentu is a strong advantage.
Strong knowledge of restaurant and bar service standards, preferably in a high-volume or all-inclusive operation.
Ability to clearly convey information and ideas to guests, coworkers, and management.
Strong decision-making skills with the ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
Demonstrated initiative, anticipating operational needs and completing tasks proactively.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, environment while maintaining composure and objectivity.
Strong problem-solving skills, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving issues as they arise.
Ability to analyze operational and financial information and support departmental performance.
Excellent listening skills with the ability to understand and respond to guest and employee concerns.
Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and varied shifts as required by operations.

Job Offer
Work and live on one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean.
Salary between USD 2,500 and USD 3,500 gross per month (depending on experience).
We do not offer accommodation; however, our manager benefits package includes the following:
Flight to Curaçao
Visa processing and work permit handled and paid for by Pyrmont.
Choice between assistance with shipment of household up to a certain amount or a one-time allowance in Curacao up to a certain amount for furnishing of apartment.
Participation in the quarterly management bonus program. The potential bonus is half a month's salary per quarter.
