Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, Aruba

Amsterdam Manor is a small boutique resort on Eagle Beach, one of Aruba's most celebrated stretches of coastline.

We're not a conventional hotel. We're 72 rooms, high-touch service, and an excellent reputation on Booking & TripAdvisor that we've worked for hard to earn.

Our guests are mostly American, many arriving by cruise ship for a single day, others staying longer and returning year after year. They come for the food, the atmosphere, and the feeling that someone here actually cares.

We're looking for an F&B Manager who can run tight, warm, memorable operations, and who genuinely enjoys the theater of hospitality.

What this role actually is

You'll oversee everything on the food and beverage side: Horizons, Passions on the Beach, and our banquet and event output. You have a strong executive chef in the kitchen, but we always welcome culinary creativity & suggestions.

What we need from you is the front-of-house leadership: service standards, team energy, guest experience, event management, new menu proposals, and the commercial discipline to run it profitably.

Your days will not all look the same. Cruise guests on a beach day want speed, sun, and a good cocktail. Returning guests who've booked a beachside dinner want something they'll talk about at home. You'll need to read a room fast and set the right tone.

The team you'll lead

It's a mix of Aruban, Dutch, international team members. Experienced people and newer ones.
You'll need to hold standards without rigidity, coach without micromanaging, and create a team culture where people want to show up and do good work. The best candidates for this role lead through presence, demonstrated experience, and clarity, not hierarchy.

What we're looking for

You've managed F&B in a hotel or upscale hospitality setting for at least five years. You know how to read a P&L, manage inventory without waste, and keep a bar and kitchen running smoothly under pressure. You're comfortable with ALOHA or any other POS. You understand the full guest journey, from the first impression at the host stand to the last bite of dessert.

You speak English & Spanish. Dutch, or Papiamento is a real advantage here. Our team and island reflect all four.

You're not looking for a corporate ladder. You want to make an impact and ownership of something you can be proud of.

The practical side

This is a full-time role, on-site, with shift flexibility including evenings, weekends, and events. Amsterdam Manor is an EarthCheck certified resort, and our sustainability commitment is real, not a badge on the wall.

A degree in hospitality, hotel management, or a related field is absolutely preferred, since this will impact the work authorization and visa process positively.

• Base Salary of USD 5000
